Robert Ma serves as the Legal Director at Carestream International. In this strategic global leadership role, he oversees the company's worldwide legal operations, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks. He is responsible for guiding the organization through complex international legal landscapes, managing global intellectual property portfolios, and providing counsel on cross-border commercial strategies.
Mr. Ma joined the company in March 2021, initially serving as the Legal Director for the Greater China Cluster (GCC). His exceptional leadership in navigating the complex legal environment of the region paved the way for his expanded global responsibilities.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Ma built a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades at leading global technology corporations. He served as Asia Legal Counsel at Texas Instruments for five years and held key legal positions at Broadcom, Autodesk and Intel Corporation (Sales & Marketing Group). This extensive background with top-tier multinational tech giants has provided him with a profound understanding of global legal standards and the operational dynamics of international enterprises.
Mr. Ma holds LL.M. from U.C Berkeley Law, and LL.M, LL.B., B.A from Tsinghua University. He is qualified to practice law in China and California, U.S.
